Accepted and rejected material
Accepted
- Summaries you wrote from lectures, readings or your own revision
- Lecture notes in your own words, including annotated versions of your own transcription
- Practice questions and worked answers you produced
- Essays and assignments you wrote and were graded on
- Case notes, mind maps, flashcard decks and formula sheets you made
- Scans of your own handwriting, provided they are legible at 100% zoom
Rejected
- Lecture slides, handouts or readers distributed by your institution
- Scanned or retyped textbook chapters, however heavily edited
- Solutions manuals, instructor materials or exam papers under embargo
- Another student's work, with or without their permission
- Documents with material portions generated by an AI tool and not verified by you
- Anything containing other people's names, student numbers or personal data

Legible at 100% zoom
Handwriting is welcome. Photographs taken at an angle, with a shadow across the page or below roughly 200 DPI are not — they get rejected more often than any other reason.
Complete against what it claims
A document titled 'complete summary' has to cover the syllabus. If it covers six of eleven chapters, title it accordingly and it will pass.
Tagged to a real course and year
Course code, institution and academic year are mandatory. This is the single thing that makes results useful, so we check it rather than trusting the form.
Priced against its own preview
The first three pages are shown to everyone. If the rest does not live up to them, buyers refund it and the listing gets pulled.
Common questions
- How long does review take?
- Most documents are reviewed within one working day. Documents for courses we have not seen before can take up to three days because we verify the course code exists.
- My upload was rejected. What now?
- Every rejection names the specific reason and the page it relates to. Fix that and resubmit — resubmissions go to the front of the review queue and there is no limit on attempts.
- Can I use AI to help write my notes?
- You can use AI to help you study, but the document you publish must be your own work that you have verified for accuracy. Documents that are substantially unverified AI output are rejected, because they are confidently wrong in ways that cost buyers marks.
- What if I quote a textbook?
- Short quotations with attribution are fine and normal in academic work. Reproducing substantial portions is not, regardless of attribution. If most of a page is quoted material, it will be rejected.

The overwhelming majority of rejections are photograph quality, not content. Scan flat, in decent light, and you are through.
